This application (“Longer Together Finance”) is an internal financial reporting tool operated by Longer Together Pet Company (“the Company”) for the Company’s own bookkeeping and analysis. It is not offered to the public, and its only authorized users are Company personnel.
What we collect
- Financial account datafor the Company’s own bank and credit card accounts, retrieved through Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”): account names, balances, and transaction history (dates, amounts, merchant names, categories).
- Sales and payment datafrom the Company’s own commerce platforms (Shopify and Amazon).
- Sign-in information for authorized users (name and email via Google sign-in).
We never see or store bank usernames or passwords. Bank connections are established through Plaid’s hosted flow, and credentials are entered directly with Plaid or the financial institution.
How we use it
Data is used solely for the Company’s internal bookkeeping, financial reporting, and business analysis. It is not sold, rented, shared with third parties except the service providers that operate the application (e.g., Plaid, hosting and database providers under their own agreements), or used for advertising or any other secondary purpose.
How it’s protected
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access requires authenticated sign-in with multi-factor authentication and is limited to named, authorized Company personnel. Plaid access tokens are stored encrypted. Full practices are described in the Company’s Information Security Policy.
Retention and deletion
Financial data is retained as long as needed for business and tax purposes and then deleted. An authorized user may disconnect any linked account at any time, which revokes the connection with Plaid; associated data can be deleted on request to the owner listed above. Data shared with Plaid is also subject to Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy.
